Untidy furnishings, corridors etc and tiny car park. However, when parked and in your room it's well worth the money! Meals are terrible. We ordered a pizza which cost a fortune for something thinner than a piece of paper. Friendly helpful staff. Won't hesitate to choose again. Ideal location for RVI Hospital and Quay Side which is why we mainly visit.
As far as Travelodges go, this is a pretty decent establishment. The rooms are generally clean and comfortable (the odd wall looks like it needs a lick of paint, but nothing drastic), and theres usually not much noise at night. The downsides - drivers of large cars may find the car park tricky to navigate (a word of warning - there are multiple signs advising vehicles above a certain size from accessing the top floor of the car park, and theyre not just there for decoration!).
Room was comfortable and spacious. Had a good variety available for breakfast. However, hotel wifi wouldn't work on my Mac, which seemed to be a regular problem according to the lady on the helpline. She tried to help generously for about half an hour, before referring me to the IT team, who she said should call within an hour. No call received, and the following day, received an email that my case had been closed. Useless waste of my time.
Rooms way too warm... No air con (yeah I know its a budget TL!! But didn't get a sleep)Card machine broken so had to go find a cash machine.....
Have stayed here before and have been very impressed. This time my room is in an extension to the main building. No problem for me being active and mobile. Would be a problem for someone with a mobility issues. The room is of course spotless and the shower is as powerful as ever. Excellent value for money and ideally situated when attending concerts at the Sage.
