Really nice hotel. Our room was a suite. Very nice it was. the bar isnt big enough. Tried twice for a seat in there. Drinks expensive 2 half lagers 7.
We had guests visiting us from south and booked them into this hotel. Whilst up north we met our guests in this hotel and it was an amazing experience. Staff were amazing, food was great and location is simply the best.
Wow what a view. The best view on the Tyne. Staff are fantastic and the rooms are very clean and tastefully decorated. They have a lovely feel about them too. This is a view directly from the window of the 3rd floor
We had our wedding party at The Baltic in September 2018. Malmaison proved a great location for me and my wife to base ourselves. So close to the Baltic and the quayside, great bars and restaurants both nearby and within the hotel itself. Good for catching up with various guests who were around and for easy access to our venue during setup & take down. Starbucks inside was a lifesaver.Our room (millennium bridge view suite) was superb. Luxurious, large, comfortable with all mod-cons as you'd expect.Very well presented. Breakfast was spot on, definitely worth it. Cocktail bar was brilliant (Try the Rum Chocolate Rum)Also, the member of staff who arranged some Ham & Cheese toasties for a slightly worse for wear bride and groom at 3 am was a hero. Thanks!
