Great views from the top floor of the city. Trains slowly chugging along beside it add to the atmosphere of this well placed Crowne Plaza. Will try the pool next time. Oh and parking is great in the attached multi-storey next door
Very nice hotel near the station and quayside. About a 10 min walk to the city center. Clean spacious rooms en great bathroom. Enjoyed our stay! Recommended
This was our first stay in the Crowne Plaza and it was lovely. Service was great, rooms were clean, bed was so comfy. The only negative would be was no hand wash in bathroom and that's a big one for me. Also because they had parties on there were no restaurant facilities which we weren't told about until check in this would have been good to be told when we booked due to it been Christmas time and everywhere was very busy and we struggled to find somewhere to eat but we managed.
Hotel rooms are reasonably priced, very clean and roomy. Staff very friendly. Great location near the train station. Only one issue... Breakfast. There needs to be more variety. We found also that what was offered there wasn't enough of. We will stay here again but maybe not have breakfast for 10 per person per day.
Attended a conference at the hotel and found it to not only have a welcoming atmosphere all staff from Receptionist to all other employees met were smart, friendly and very helpful.Conference room was well set out with comfortable seats, room was up to a high standard with the expected bottles of both sparkling and still water and sweets and had pens and paper supplied by hotel.Food served in restaurant again of a good quality and plentiful
