In common with others on this page I was conned out of 300 by these low life operators who wouldn't accept my back card as the bank had updated it since I booked. They were able to prove my address though but still wouldnt release the vehicle unless I paid an additional 300. I will never give up trolling these people as long as I am still alive.
Had our trip ruined early in the morning today after making an online reservation yesterday's evening due to Alamo's inability to prove my address. Their "system" was unable to find my name on my current address, where I have stayed already for 9 months and it didn't recognize my previous address either (1,5 year). And since I don't possess a credit card and Alamo don't accept any form of payslip or other paper proofs of address, which I had with me, we didn't go anywhere.
