Nice area, good for dog walks as Council havent removed all the bins as in other areas!! Maybe as more affluent. It just to keep entry into City looking presentable and to hell with the rest;

A little more tranquility than parks.

Great open space for playing, dogwalking or just hanging out. Shielded from the traffic on the Great North Road and Jesmond Dene Road by fine mature trees. Has a paved pathway across it, between the end of Gosforth High Street and the junction of Ilford Road and Jesmond Dene Road. This is shared between pedestrians and cyclists.
