Vital green space, offering a little bit of freedom to wander in the trees, or enjoy the open air. Beware, sadly, the smashed bottles. But do look out for the squirrels, and woodpeckers; at times the birdsong is deafening. There's a restaurant and usually the coffee cart.

A relaxing environment in which to chill or simply pass through either at speed whilst training or at more leisurely paces. It's right on my doorstep which is handy. Sambuca has a popular established restaurant in the old pavilion there, which I've sampled and enjoyed. It has loads of space to hang out, swings and playground stuff for the children and benches to catch your breath. I've also seen the occasional slack line erected between trees for the youth who like to potentially snap their bodies up. There's also a coffee cart serving brews and ice cream when the temperature rises. Use the space.
