The cashier and the store manager are very politically correct.
Terrible customer service - they've lost a regular customer in me. Bought a 150 exposure light which was faulty... emailed the shop... no response... took faulty light into the shop, refused to replace despite having a replacement in stock in the shop...left details for them to contact exposure...never called me back... I call them back two weeks later, still refuse to replace and offer to send back to exposure for repair which I could have done myself a month ago. I'd still have been waiting for them to call me back this time next year. It's a shame because the shop sells some lovely stuff but I won't be going back again.
Mechanic was rude unhelpful, didn't return a phone call and blatantly lied about the bike fault. Trying to overcharge for a service and parts replacement which was not required is an embarrassment for such an established shop. As good as a glass eye missing this lot, will definitely avoid this shop in the future.

Went to try and sort out buying a 1x11 drivetrain. I always make sure to support local bike shops, but when they charge almost twice the price for a cassette than online, it's taking the mick. The staff were exceptionally blunt and take no interest in what you are looking for. Rarely go in anymore, as staff and mechanic are rude and unhelpful. I would strongly recommend using Cotswold's bike shop, as it is much better and the guys there care about the customer. Most of all, they ride locally (chopwell etc.) and will make sure you make the right decisions, without trying to rip you off. Plus they're dead canny :)
