Fantastic Turkish food! Would highly recommend this to all foodies! Great choice of fresh food and sakad for veggies too!
Recommended by a work colleague, we visited on a Friday afternoon for lunch. Taking advantage of the lunch special (two courses for 10, three for 13.95) we had a delicious selection of four starters (two each), served with a warm and tasty flatbread. The chicken kebab and kofte we had for a main were both full of flavour and empty plates went back to the kitchen. A caramel milk pudding and Turkish coffee finished the meal off superbly. We're already planning a second visit
Food was to die for! Service for the mains was slow even though the restaurant was pretty quiet but nevertheless the food came and sharp made up for the slow service. I will most definitely be back!
A wonderful meal. I have an intolerance to garlic and initially, it looked like I would have little choice due to the fact they marinade a lot of their meat with garlic. They had a discussion in the kitchen and told me that I could have quite a few dishes with lamb and they would adapt the dishes for me. Between the four of us we had starters of Halloumi, Feta parcels and Cheese and spicy neat wraps. Mains included Chicken kebab, Lamb kebab, Meat balls & Special wrap. All the food was superb and although the service was a little slow for the mains, given the fact the restaurant was packed, it was very good and attentive. We will be back the next time we are in the North East.
Good food in very pleasant surroundings. Took some visiting friends who hadn't had Turkish food. They can't wait to come back back.
