Best chicken wings I've had in years, the wings were meatier than I've experienced in other places serving wings. Plenty of sauces to choose from, serving them in shot glasses works really well. Service was excellent. Great value too. I'll be back!
This is the worst service experience I've had in a while. The food looked and smelled great...if I actually got to have any of it. After booking a table for lunch. The staff might have failed to inform us that the kitchen was behind. It took them 40 minutes to tell us, that it would take another 15 minutes to get the food. Although for 40 minutes I watched all the takeaway orders flying out the door. I think your staff and kitchen should be more focused on actually serving people in your restaurant. Give this place a miss at lunchtime, hopefully, it's better at dinner. But I doubt it.
Went for the Sunday all-you-can-eat option. The sauce range is excellent and the batter on the wings/legs was brilliant, very peppery and lemon-y. Unfortunately took around an hour and a half to get any food on the table, but otherwise very enjoyable.
Had take away of quarter chicken with sides of corn and hummus, and a wings box. Quarter chicken tasted of lemon and not much else, it definitely needs the help of sauces (that i did not receive, maybe coz it was to take away) to make it more enjoyable. Hummus was more like thick chickpea puree and nothing else, and the wings were quite dry. I couldn't taste the difference between the 2 wing types. 2 stars are for the corn alone which was succulent and tender.
Excellent service and excellent food. The staff were very attentive and made great recommendations, we were well looked after. The range of sauces was brilliant (the mushroom ketchup and banana habanero are so good) and the chicken was easily the best we've had in the North East - crispy on the outside and magically moist in the middle. The place was spotless and we really couldn't find fault with it. Will definitely be back.
