From day one they never kept me updated on anything to do with the house I had just bought using them as solicitors. Unfortunately after exchanging contracts on a split-mortgage,Me and my partner split up. I informed them immediately that we would have to cancel it as we were then told we would have to pay 10% of the purchase price of 140,000.After many phone calls and emails on my behalf trying to pay my half of the 10%, they kept passing it from pillar to post. Never able to get in touch with anyone worth noting for a long time. When I eventually did I spoke to my solicitor who was extremely rude. This wasnt the first time she had been. Her words, and I quote i dont get paid for this came out of her mouth over the phone which I thought was extremely unprofessional as wether the house goes through normally or it gets cancelled. She is there to do her job until it is completed one way or another.That is just an example and a brief encounter with Sintons. I would highly advise, NOT choosing Sintons solicitors as your choice. And if you do, specifically state that you dont want a solicitor called Rukhsanah. You wont regret it.
