We used Jacksons towards the end of last year for a completion of our property. The only reason we used Jackson was because the mortgage provider had a list of approved legal firms, I prefer to use the one I have used for all the other properties purchased so was restricted. Jacksons are extremely expensive, poor customer service, rude staff, we didn't get an update on our purchase throughout the transaction. I would not recommend them nor would I use them in the future. I raised the complaint to the managing partner Jane Armitage but only response I received was that 'it's being looked in to and you will have a response soon' - one year on and no response yet! If the managing partner has such attitude then what can you expect from other staff members.
