I used Geoffrey Lurie for conveyancing on my first house purchase after seeing the excellent reviews, not the cheapest but was provided with a very reasonable quote. Unfortunately I has fairly disappointed with the service I received. It took over 4 weeks after paying search fees etc, for my case file to even be opened, and upon chasing them many times without returning calls, it turned out the solicitor appointed to my purchase had actually left and I had not been notified. Once reappointment the transaction and search results did proceed fairly quickly and completion was pain free. UPDATE: I have been very impressed with how my feedback was taken on board and Amanda taking the time to discuss any issues over the phone which was a nice personal touch. showing their clients do come first.
