Dr Robson gave teeth a deep clean now I have to take pain killers everyday , I cant sleep im in agony . I have never felt so much pain in my life. I am no longer a patient at the practice I was kicked out when missed several appointments because of the fear of coming back.I came for for a check up, because of gum disease, cause by plaque. The dentist decided even though I was in no discomfort that my teeth needed to be deep cleaned. After deep cleaning I have suffered pain and discomfort daily My back molar is so sensitive to temperature that yesterday the pain I experienced whist trying to administer local anaesthetic gel was so great that a blood vessel burst in my eye. I fainted . Dr Robson warned me that the deep cleaning may cause temperature sensitivity but this is not something he prepared me for . My life has become a nightmare since the scrape. I have had to take time off work and am forced to take pain killers everyday and night .For the first couple of years a dentist at the practice tried to convert me to Christianity with her hands in my mouth she went on long term sick. The next guy Robson I think is responsible for causing me the most long term excruciating unnecessary pain I have ever feltAs a direct result of I am probably going to have to get the tooth extracted even though it is viable I am emailing a review of my experiences of practice as a prelude to seeking legal advice. The god squad lady either missed something or Dr Robson decided that he was going to try something that she had never thought of. DIY dentistry is preferable.
I have used this practice for many years and as far as I am concerned it is one of the best dental practices in the north east.I am with Phil who is very friendly but at the same time you can see he is concentrated on treating you to the very best standards and more.so professional and I know he has your best interests at heart.Yes I have had one or two appointments cancelled over my time with them but so what that's life. I'm sure they have had a lot of patients cancel or not turned up.Last point the lady's on reception are great and very welcoming and helpful.I would recommend this Dental practice to anybody if you want top drawer treatment and a welcoming environment.
Booked appointment for my children in November which was confirmed. Received a call on the day cancelling because the dentist was not feeling well. The visit was rescheduled to January 29th. Again confirmed multiple times. I received a call on the day again saying that the dentist wasn't feeling well again and that the visit would be cancelled. What and extraordinary coincidence. So now we have waited 2 months and still haven't had a visit. Terrible.
My 80 year old dad got on 2 buses in the freezing cold to visit for a check up today (first ever visit) he was 15 minutes late and was refused any treatment! ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL. I will do all That I possibly can to discourage people from visiting your practice. Terrible customer service.
My dental requirements are dealt with by Dr Brantingham. I have always had in my opinion the best attention from him and have no hesitation in recommending his services. Philip Dudgeon.
