Made a short stop yesterday. Shop is a bit small and it's hard to walk around, especially while carrying a larger bag, but other than that it was great. The staff was very friendly and offered me help almost immediately. The selection of manga is probably the best in Newcastle, as other shops, are quite lacking. I found out the light novel I was after had only volumes 2,3 and 4 available, but the staff member offered a possibility to order to store. I will definitely make another stop there soon.

First of all , As soon as I walked through the doorI could smell Mold . They need to move into a bigger locationand they also have to learn to compete withForbidden Planet which is a few doorsup the street from them in the same side of the street . I seriously don't know how they managed to stay in business with the poor selection ofComics . I think that they care more about thegaming part of the store than the comics part of the store . I've been going in there for as long as I can remember and not once did anyone eversay hello to me or asked me if I neededhelp with looking for something . If the owner of Traveling Man actually reads this , PLEASE think about a bigger location , I could fart and probably knock down the stuff in the middle of the floor .
Fantastic shop. I went in wanting advice for about buying graphic novels for a 6 year old and a 3 year old, Elliot served me and was a real star. Amazing knowledge and passion and managed to find me 4 titles, that have become huge hits in our house already. Take full advantage of the amazing staff in this wonderful indie store and ask there advice. Next time i am up, will definitley buy from again.
