EXCELLENT CARING STAFF THE ANIMALS ARE WELL LOVED AND TREAT WITH DIGNITY AND RESPECT
Staff very friendly and vet was gentle with my little shihtzu girl
Second visit to vet regarding my two year old cats eye. Once again I got the most rudest, insensitive, doesn't explain anything man that I had to put in a complaint the last time I was there, as he upset me so much and requested this time not to see him. However this did not happen and again was met with this aggressive, unfriendly supposedly Prof who just happened to mention as if I was being offered a cup of tea that my cat had a heart murmur and literally walked out. I was obviously very distressed with this news and his attitude, once again came out in tears. Asked the receptionist what his name was, and who to put a complaint in to. I was then seen by the service manager and another vet, I explained that I appreciate it is a charity but I always make a donation and nobody should have to put up with that kind of service. Pets are our family and it's like telling someone "oh by the way you have cancer" and then leaving the room. I'm appalled he is even in that job, twice it's happened to me, somebody in the waiting room who saw how upset I was said he's done the same with her and she refused to see him. If you're going to run a service whether it's charity or not, customers do not need to have to additional abruptness and rudeness and he should be brought to account. I would never talk to a patient as a nurse the way he did and wouldn't get away with it and neither should he. I've told them I will be taken this further. The rest of the vets have always been brilliant, it only takes one though.

Personally, I dont even think they deserve one star, but anyway.On the last few occasion Ive visited the PDSA Anne Colman Centre in Newcastle, the staff have always been rude, ignorant and discriminatory to me and others that Ive seen waiting to be seen.Its almost impossible to contact them over the phone, even though they are open from 9 am to 6pm most days. Its as if they just have their phone off the hook, so to speak.On my last occasion I took my dog in with a swollen joint which had appeared the previous evening. The vet said that it had been broken for at least a week and that I should have taken him in earlier. This guy raised his voice and said that I was neglecting my dog because I obviously ignored his injury.The next day he had his joint x-rayed and we found out that it was soft tissue damage. I told the manager what the vet had said and it was ignored and shrugged off.I myself have a PhD in Clinical Psychology, but cant work due to being physically disabled, yet they either ignore what I say or make suggestive comments that could not be any further from the truth. #disrespectful.
