Great vets, amazing with my cat

Nit friendly women works on a welcome desk in this vets. I do not recommend

Disgusting place. Please think about taking your animals to this place. This is our latest experience after being with this practice for 17 years. Our 15 year old cat was hit but a car (not seriously) on the Friday night. After calling first vets and been given the emergency vets details we took him to the emergency vet recommended by them. He has what can only be described as gravel rash on his back leg. But they wanted to keep him in and do all there checks. We collected him on the Saturday morning and paid our 800 bill. They said the dressing were too be changed every 3 days. At 336 a go! We called first vets and they made us an appointment for the Thursday at 5.40. Then we took the cat they said that he needed to be sedated and there was not enough time in the day as they were closing soon and made him another appointment for the Saturday. Now that's 8 days he has had the the dressings on now. When they removed the dressings all his skin came off with it. They re-dressed the wound and did it too tight and his foot swelled up and made him very uncomfortable. They then told our children if he went somewhere else they might take his leg off! Scare tactics. We decided to take him somewhere else as 336 was a lot of money every 3 days for a poor service. He has now made a full recovery at a fraction of the price. To top this all off, first vets who never contactacted us again reported us to the R.S.P.C.A. unbeliable I know! They came out and visited us at home and were also disgusted that first vets would waste there time too. They were very happy with our animals. We have waited for an apology for 4 days to get a call today from Andy golightly to be argumentative and blame everyone else! Please people, there is good vets out there who care and charge reasonable prices. First vets is not one of them!! We will be taking this further.

Lovely staff, friendly and helpful. Would vet again
