We were on holiday and found that this was the best and cheapest way to get around Newcastle and to Sunderland and at 1.30 to park the car for the day. The station was clean and bright & not to busy, there was not a long wait between services either.

I love this train station never really busy and right next to the supermarket so you can get your shopping. The metro is the best train in Newcastle really fast and goes all around Newcastle, whitey Bay, City center and LODS MORE

Metro is a great fast way of getting round, only short wait times between services
