Eldon Insurance Services have done a hard search on my credit report. They did not ask permission (which is legally required) for this and I am only aware of this because I subscribe to Experian and I had an to notify me. I've never even heard of them nevermind taken out any potential insurance. Luckily, Experian investigated and amended my credit score. Seriously bad company.
Absolutely appalling company. I made a claim on my insurance I have with Eldon who are branded as Go Skippy. My car was under repair for over 3 months and when I collect it the car is not running properly so I return it to the garage People's Falkirk. Eldon pay Northern Assessors to look at the motor and they diagnose a Transfer Box problem. I was told it was not part of the accident and was a pre-existing condition so therefore not covered under the insurance. I paid a Gearbox Specialist to look at the Transfer Box which is part of the Four Wheel Drive and he concluded it could have been part of the accident.My car ran perfectly fine before the accident and was undriveable when I collect it when it was supposed to be fixed.It is now in the hands of The Financial Ombudsman as Eldon have tried everything not to pay over 2000 for the repair work. They are a disgusting company who will try anything to rob you and fob you off. Their manager Theresa is a professional at ignoring calls and trying to fob you off with any nonsense that she can make up as she goes along. Northern Assessors looked at the report from the Gearbox Specialist and said that the Transfer Box failed due to lack of oil. My repair garage said they drained sufficent oil and this was not the case.They have been clutching at straws and say that lack of photphotographic evidence to prove there was oil they concluded that the Northern Assessor gent was correct. I asked Theresa if he had photographic evidence to prove his point and she did not reply. Eldon are a bunch of pathetic conmen and conwomen.There is no say you can diagnose a Transfer Box issue without stripping it down which was never the case for Peoples Garage Falkirk.I have asked for my Final Response now to be issued so I can forward to The Financial Ombudsman. Folks stay well clear my car was never fixed after the accident I still have electrical faults and the grill at the front they replaced does not match the top one.My car left People's In Falkirk on the back of a recovery truck and I was thousands out of pocket as Eldon are the worst company I have ever dealt with.You have been warned.
Good points - They have to contacts in Russia and are great at subverting democracy.Bad points - Will try and contact you with Wetherspoons magazines and brexit related rubbish, despite selling insurance
This company is owned by Aaron Banks who subverted democracy in the uk and has close links to the russian government. Please boycott.
Possibly the rudest and most incompetent insurance company I have ever had to deal with. They certainly could use an upgrade in the customer service departments. Even if you buy your insurance via a broker check it is not underwritten by this company. A pitiful service for an extortionate price.
