I love Apple products but have now moved away from them because of the expense of having to keep them up to date. 3 laptops and 2 desktops all working fine but software pretty much dead. Service is cush though.
Its an Apple Store. What more is there to say? I have been there several times over the past couple months. When my iPhone 8 Plus had issues with audio after few days of troubleshooting and changing my phones display I was given a brand new device of the same model for free. Staff is always respectful and very kine. The wait times can be a bit annoying but with the sheer load of people needing help there is little to be done.
So disappointed to write this review. Have been shopping with Apple since their very first iPod. Recently bought a MacBook Pro from here costing the best part of 1600. Got the laptop home and went to transfer over information from my old Mac which repeatedly failed. After approximately 6 hours of wiping the hard drive/reinstalling the operating system, on the reccommendation of apple telephone support, I was given permission to return the laptop in exchange for a new one. In the apple store I was interrogated as to exactly what I had done and why (was following instructions of their telephone support), eventually they swapped it. Four months on, I'm now without my laptop as it has had to be sent off to be repaired and have multiple parts re-fitted due to a failing keyboard?? The 'premium service' that apple once provided has unfortunately gone by the wayside. Yes their tech is great (when it works) but with this kind of service the cost is just no longer justified by any stretch. Based on my experience, I'd say avoid!
Just tried to pop in to exchange the headphones I received when I bought my IPhone XR 12 days ago. They havent worked since I bought the phone and this was the first opportunity I have had to get them exchanged. You would think this would be a simple swap of non serviceable for serviceable, but no - Ive just been informed I may get an appointment with a technician sometime between now and 1300 so I need to hang around until they can fit me in. Funnily enough, I didnt have to hang around too long to give them nearly 1000 for a new phone and headphone less than 2 weeks ago!Ridiculous and pathetic system that proves once they have your cash they really couldnt care less.
Excellent service from the Apple team in Eldon Square today. Must call out the "Genius" Tom in particular for his comprehensive excellent service in helping to resolve an I Pad operating glitch. It is exactly this kind of invaluable back up support that singles out Apple from the rest. Thank you.
