We only had 1 cocktail each, 2 drinks equated to 16. Bit excessive for my liking. Staff are friendly and professional. I wasn't aware of any special drinks offers. There were only a handful of customers in when We were in. Atmosphere sociable but quiet just the way me and my girlfriend like it. Shame about drinks prices.
Really nice place staff were all really nice and helpful, we were in a group of 9 and the bar staff helped my husband carry his round over to the table. It was quite busy when we got there, the door staff were very welcoming the whole atmosphere of the place was really nice. First time even visiting this bar but I am sure I will try it again.
Totally love Harry's!! It was our go to place the whole week we were in Newcastle. The food is really, Really good, the staff are lovely & you get a nice pint or a trendy cocktail ;)
First time at Harry's Bar and won't be back. As never been before did not know it was table service ordered my drinks at the bar and informed by the lovely lady behind bar that she would bring drinks to table. Then was approached by a gentleman who was doing table service who asked what I would like to drink, I informed him that I had ordered my drinks at the bar he responded which sarcastic comments starting ah I don't know why I'm here I may as well go home. Me and my partner were very embarrassed and angry by comments. When I came to leave went to bar to pay bill the said gent continued his sarcastic comments while taking payment.Won't be back and should change name from Harry's Bar to Slap Harry's Bar.
Very busy city centre bar, due to its location. Harry's tends to be packed as people meet up there for a drink and then move on to other bars. There is a lot of room and space for standing and also seating. On a Friday there is a DJ and his music selection was good and people were dancing. When i visited Barry's there was a strange mixture of people, either young or quiet old... I can not speak in general as I don't drink at Harry's often.
