Good central station easy to find platforms and the staff are helpful and kind ,, The station has a good variety of shops so you buy stuff whilst waiting for your train
Newcastle Central station is a Grade 1 listed building, designed by Architect John Dobson. The main entrance portico on Neville street originally took vehicle traffic and served as a drop off point. Today, though it is enclosed with glazing and serves pedestrians only. One notable feature is the curved platforms.
