homophobic bouncers, place is run down, just yesterday a tipsy women got hailed verbal & physical abuse was totally out of order, do not go to this nasty place way to over priced and the alcohol is water down.
Came from Manchester here on a culture club night at the arena where youd expect it to be busy and full of gays considering its supposed to be a gay bar. Id have felt safer in a Wetherspoons. Completely straight crowd.
Awful place that should be ashamed to charge entry, with absolutely rude staff inside and out on the doors. I used to love coming here (albeit in previous locations) but now this place makes me feel uncomfortable, due to terrible power hungry/unhinged staff and the disgusting interior
15 ENTRY! You arrive to be met by rude staff, even ruder bouncers who proceeds to insult, mock and hassle you. Once you make your way through all that, youre met with 15 to get in, which is not only the most expensive place in the town, its so unjustifiable that I walked out, the club is sticky, smells and has a horrible vibe.The worst club Ive been too, steer clear and save yourself money and time by walking the other way.
Brilliant night! Monday seems to be the busiest night from my few visits. Drinks are cheap if you get there early and then get a little more pricey later in the night. Powerhouse attracts a great crowd and the staff are friendly too. They tend to play more cheesy music which makes for a great time, plus it's easy to dance to.
