Went to see the Laurel and Hardy film was a perfect venue for the film showing in the classic screen.. Lots of individuality and added extras... they had extra archive film you wouldn't get to see anywhere else - great film - fabulous cinema

This is a wonderful old style cinema which also has a great bar area and a big seated area. They serve great food and it is not expensive. They also have a baby area where prams can be easily accommodated. The atmosphere is very vibey. The service is also excellent.

Love visiting this cinema. Reasonably priced, comfy seats, food and drinks can be bought in the screening up until the trailers begin. Really nice bar and cafe to visit before and/or after the film as well.

A quaint cinema with a beautiful interior. I have been to two different screens- one which resembles a rich gorgeous theatre and another which is just like your typical cinema screening. It has a cafe on site where alcoholic beverages may also be purchased. It also shows movies which are not usually available in other cinemas. Truly worth a visit.

Tyneside is great for letting you see old films back on the big screen. They have lots of events and special showings - I've been to see The Godfather, Rocky 4 and Die Hard over the years. Cinema is a charity and relies on memberships etc. Bar downstairs is great. Good crowd of people come here - no riff-raff, it's more students etc. Cinema snacks are a bit limited and no hot popcorn on offer, it's just poured from bags. But otherwise it's a great quirky little cinema. Decent size screens, comfy seats, always clean. Definitely recommend.
