Very bad communication and very bad service
The whole place needs renovating more staff and a better IT system.Over 3000 private hire and hackney taxis in newcastle.Thats over 3000 plus drivers. They only have two counters,one for vehicals and one for licensing.You end up waiting for approx 55min in the que on a normal day.Newcastle licensing needs urgent investment.The place is the most depressing place in Newcastle.Love to see some top officials help out on the counter and see the problems all of us NORMAL people have to go through.One can only Wish.
The staff have always been very helpful, place is clean, very busy keeping the taxi and private hire vehicles in the right condition for the road.
The staff are friendly and try their best to help in the circumstances, but the building isn't up to scratch. Not enough staff. Not enough space. Not even enough technology to reliably take card payments If you are in the process of becoming a taxi driver, prepare to lose countless hours of your life to this place!
