It's taken a while to sort out my head after the time I went through, all in all 14 weeks in hospital 4 operations plus an angioplasty end result half my right leg amputated, nurses and othe staff were brilliant, beccy and Brian and all the other lovely staff in ward 8 were faultless nothing was too much for them had the normal few idiots admitted to the ward but their professionalism was outstanding, they all played their part in keeping my spirits up and keeping me sane, I am forever grateful to them for helping me through the most difficult time in my life, they became more like family, not to forget nick in ward 7 now who always asked how I was and told me the truth throuout, the doctors who visited in the mornings always told how it was too, I had a few crying moments at night when all was quiet but without this wonderful group of dedicated professionals it would undoubtedly have been much worse, love to you all
I was diagnosed in November 2018 with leukemia, the staff at freemans have been second to none in the envolvment in my care, its ongoing and I know I'm in good hands
I've been a patient of the Freeman hospital for 30 years, the hospital is always kept beautifully clean, (thank you domestic team!) and I have always received exemplary care, added to this, The Freeman boasts being a centre of excellence for various specialities, and has been voted one of the top hospitals in the county for the last 13years, in my honest opinion its the best hospital in the country.... But obviously I'm biased as they've kept me alive for the last 30 years

Fantastic brilliant remarkable specialist . I would not be alive today if it wasn't for the care from professor John Simpson and his team. This hospital is first class in the north east.
