I wasn't really sure whether to leave 1 or 2 stars for the review?! This is based on the fact the stylist i initially saw for assessment and ended up trying to correct was great but the end product was extremely disappointing. I paid well over 200 for my treatment. Involving various things. The price seemed to creep up slowly during the treatment. I was at the salon for almost 7 hours. Where i was scalded a few times during my shampooing by a junior stylist - i didn't know she was junior until much later after a few mistakes - who was given the responsibility of my hair even though i explained that i was very disappointed with my last hairdressing experience. So took me a long time to get over it! She told me she hadn't much experience. I was burnt a few times during the straightening of my hair which left a small welt on my ear too which I noticed in the evening! These things happen so i didn't feel to bad. Even though it was my first time being burnt by a stylist :)I have to mention though, throughout the treatment the staff and owner were constantly treating me great and seemed to be at my beck and call which was reassuring me!!At the end i did have a few issues with the dye on my forehead and at the sides - Very noticeable - about 1/2" coming down all around my face, but because of the dark lighting didn't seem that bad. Until i got home. However, i was re-assured by the staff it would come off in couple of hours. Paying that much money i felt it shouldn't have happened anyway. It had never happened at cheaper places. It didn't come off until morning. After a lot of scrubbing. When i got home my partner asked me why i had spent 7 hours and over 200? As my hair line was still grey and had patches of white hair at the top of my head and at the sides. He also mentioned the dye on my face. I was almost in tears and called and spoke to the owner. At the end of the conversation she asked me to come in the next day to correct, but seemed short with me. I thought i just imagined it as she was the perfect host in the salon.Anyway, i went in again. Really fustrated as having to spend another morning in there. By now it sank in that this wasn't just the way my hair was. It was their own mistake. As the previous day i was told it was my hair. Giving me a junior stylist and to someone who wasn't a hairdresser didn't help. The owner did not acknowledge me. The stylist kept me talking though - she was nice. I was in there for 3-4 hours again, but there seemed to be a coldness in there. Polite smiles but nothing like the day before. It felt like i was the wrong one for their mistakes. At the end the owner did speak to me politely to say it's been corrected. Again i left the salon thinking its been sorted. Got out and more dye on my face! Then i looked in a mirror passing a shop window. White hairs still at the bottom - the ones that i could see. I just walked into another salon and after another 3 hours and another 75 they got the dye off my face and managed to cover the whites. My hair was very damaged after this experience. This is the first time i would say that if you really paid me a million pound i still would not go into this salon. I felt really bad by the owner the next day to the point of being uncomfortable during my stay. Even though it was not outright said. I would say to improve yourself you need to clearly state before treatment what level of stylist is given and what experience they have. Give a clear price before treatment. Not to surprise the client as its embarrassing and ruins the experience. When you do correct mistakes to try not to look like you are holding a grudge on why they challenged you.

Had a hot stone massage and completely zoned out...so relaxing...would definitely go back for the same or other treatments.

First trip to the salon and i will be back! Brad was amazing despite how nervous i was! I left with what i came in for and excited to go back and get my hair done lighter! Never have i left a hair salon and felt the way i did.... Brad is amazing and really made me feel comfortable and reassured me at every stage and did not complain or moan about the thickness and length of my hair. I was not rushed at all which made it feel so much nicer. Cant wait to book back in! See you guys soon

I've been going to Forever Long for a couple of years now and I'm always so over the moon with how Brad does my hair! He always ensures my hair is kept in great condition (since I have it dyed and the ends lightened!) and he always understands what I want! Would never go anywhere else! All the staff are lovely and super friendly, making sure my visit is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible! Amy x

I visited Forever Long for a full hair change, i had an amazing experience there and would always recommend them! My hair was in awful condition before I went in, I was well looked after and every step of the hair change was explained to me! I was given some gorgeous clip in extensions which are still in amazing condition months after!! Wouldn't go anywhere else! X
