Local airport just for travelling in and out but I would say security checks are good. Duty free are good. Food and drinks is always more steep in airport so having to say this one is the same.
Nice, small airport with limited hassles. Staff is nice. 2 hotels rights next to it. Large parking space is available. Train station is round the corner near exit gates. Great experience
Good medium sized airport serving all the routes you need. Customs and Immigration recently much improved.
I arrived today and the airport was packed! My heart sank as I thought it would take forever to get through. After 15 minutes I had checked in luggage and gone through security and was having a coffee on the other side. Absolutely brilliant process management and staffing levels! I travel to many international airports and non are as efficient as Newcastle!!
A modern airport with plentiful car parking, fast security clearance and good shops. There are also some food outlets that stay open for evening flights which isn't always the case. First time flying from Newcastle, very impressed.
